Ram has said it will phase out eTorque on the 5.7-liter HEMI V8 early in the model year and replace it with a non-hybrid version of the same engine. The Ram 2500 gains an available Payload Upgrade Package for HEMI-powered trucks that raises the gross vehicle weight rating from 10,000 to 11,040 pounds, for a payload of up to 4,580 pounds. Select Ram 3500 4x4 single-rear-wheel trucks with the HEMI gain 400 pounds of rating and payload, up to a maximum GVWR of 11,440 pounds, and the Power Wagon with the HEMI brings back an optional beadlock-capable wheel. The Heavy Duty trucks also add two colors, Serrano Green Metallic and Tank Clear-Coat.
